Choosing a Collection: Matching Furniture to What Your Event Is For
Picking event furniture piece by piece is how you end up with a room that’s technically furnished and says absolutely nothing. The faster path: pick the look first, then let the look pick the pieces.
That’s why we build collections, 22 of them, each one a complete, curated lookbook you can drop into a space whole. Here’s how to choose one, and what to do when your event doesn’t fit any theme on the shelf.
Start with the job, not the theme
Before you scroll a single lookbook, answer one question: what is the room supposed to DO to people when they walk in? Calm them down, wake them up, take them somewhere, or impress them quietly? Every collection below is really an answer to that question. The theme is just the vehicle.
Take them to an era
The Roaring 20’s look is the one everyone asks for by name, gold, velvet, geometry, the whole Gatsby effect, and it photographs like nothing else. The Rat Pack look does the same trick one generation later: tuxedo-era Vegas, dark and sharp. New Orleans brings the jazz-age warmth without the tuxedos. Era looks are the safest strong choice in the catalog: everyone gets the reference before they reach the bar.
Take them somewhere
Paris, Miami, Chicago, Malibu and Tiki each land a city or a coastline in the room. Safari, Mongolia and Amazon Forest go further out, and the Asian look brings the detail-rich calm of the far East. Place looks work hardest at conferences and incentive events, where the whole point is that this year doesn’t feel like last year.
Or somewhere that doesn’t exist
Alice in Wonderland and Willy Wonka run the room at full whimsy. Cirque brings the spectacle without the storybook. Galaxy and LED turn the lights themselves into the decor, and Westworld and Formula 1 hand you a ready-made world with built-in photo moments. These are the looks people post without being asked.
Or just set a mood
Not every event wants a theme, some just want a temperature. Noir is the after-dark option: black, moody, grown-up. Bleu cools a room down, A Pop of Color heats one up. Mood looks are the right answer when the brand on the screen has to stay the loudest thing in the room.
What “curated” actually buys you
A collection isn’t a search filter, somebody built it. The pieces share a palette, a scale and an era, so they land in a room already agreeing with each other. You’re not assembling a look out of 400 catalog items and hoping, you’re choosing a finished one and sizing it to your guest count (here’s how much you’ll need).
And every piece shows up ready for photos. We own this inventory, our shop inspects and refreshes it between events, and anything that can’t be brought back to excellent doesn’t ship. A themed room only works if the closest sofa holds up to the closest camera.
When no theme fits
Then we build it. JET custom fabricates, prints and brands in-house, so a collection can be bent to your event, recolored, re-signed, extended with pieces that don’t exist yet, or we start from a blank floor plan. The 22 looks are the shelf, not the limit. And wherever the event is, we deliver and install it.
Pick a lane, we’ll do the rest
Scroll the collections, pick the one that matches the job, and tell us your guest count, venue and dates. We’ll size it, quote it and get it there.
